YOUTH MODEL PARLIAMENT 2026/2027
“Building the Next Generation of Policy-Driven Leaders”
The Youth Empowerment Consortium (YEC) proudly invites young changemakers across Ghana to apply for the Youth Model Parliament (YMP) 2026/2027 Cohort — a groundbreaking leadership and governance simulation platform designed to shape thinkers into doers and aspirations into action.
YMP is not about politics — it’s about policy, leadership, and purpose. Through a dynamic Model Parliament, Model Cabinet, and issue‑based policy forums, YMP empowers emerging leaders, social innovators, entrepreneurs, and community advocates aged 18 to 40 to actively participate in national transformation. Here, you don’t just talk about change — you debate it, design it, and drive it.
What Happens Inside the Youth Model Parliament
Members of YMP represent constituencies, districts, ministries, or organizations — serving as Youth MPs, Ministers, Ambassadors, or Community Development Agents. They move motions, debate national concerns, and propose actionable policies on issues such as:

- Governance & Accountability
- Social Inclusion, Climate Action, and Community Development
