Come Saturday, February 7, 2026, the spotlight turns to Techiman as the Youth Empowerment Consortium (YEC) plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of youth leadership in Ghana. Our AG. General Secretary and Chief Executive Officer will headline the maiden Bono East Youth Conference, serving as a Guest Speaker at this landmark gathering of emerging leaders and change-makers.

Curated by JBA International, the conference brings together an enviable lineup of impact-driven leaders committed to inspiring excellence, purpose, and national development. Representing YEC’s strong leadership voice, Mr. Marfo will deliver a compelling address on the theme:
“Career Building and Excellence: Preparing for a Future of Impact.”

His session will challenge participants to think beyond jobs and titles and instead build careers anchored in purpose, leadership, and long-term impact.

The high-powered youth conference is expected to host over 250 carefully selected participants drawn from across Ghana, with a strong representation from the Bono East, Bono, and Ahafo Regions. Participants will engage in panel discussions, thought-provoking presentations, interactive open forums, and energizing activities designed to equip them with the mindset, skills, and clarity needed for a purpose-driven life beyond the conference hall.

The Bono East Youth Conference is hosted by JBA International, in collaboration with YEC, and is led by our Programs Director, Mr. Joseph Boakye Agyemang, whose leadership continues to drive youth-centred impact initiatives nationwide. Together, the partnership promises a conference that is not only inspiring but transformational.
