The Youth Empowerment Consortium (YEC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Samuel Akoto Acquah as the Internal Auditor of the YEC Administration.
Mr. Acquah brings to this role extensive experience in accounting, internal auditing, financial governance, and institutional oversight. His appointment reflects YEC’s commitment to strengthening internal controls, promoting transparency, and ensuring prudent financial management across its administrative and programmatic operations.
He is currently an Elder of The Church of Pentecost and serves as the Accountant for the Church of Pentecost, Ablekuma Newtown District. He has previously served as a District Internal Auditor, where he conducted audits across multiple local assemblies to ensure compliance with financial policies, enhance accountability, and reinforce effective internal control systems. He also served as a Member of the District Financial Committee, contributing to budgeting, financial planning, expenditure reviews, and advisory support to leadership.
At the local assembly level, Mr. Acquah served as Financial Secretary of the Ablekuma Newtown Central Assembly, where he managed financial records, reporting, and administrative financial processes. Beyond ecclesiastical administration, he is the Head of the Finance Department of the Beacons of Intelligence and the Chief Executive Officer of Kings Investment, bringing valuable private-sector and institutional finance experience to his role.
